Includes up to three small text or image updates per month (up to 60 minutes total), basic link and form checks, and troubleshooting of our original site code. Unused time does not roll over.

Maintenance excludes redesigns, new pages or features, SEO campaigns, third-party fees, and fixes caused by third-party services. Additional work requires a separate quote. Maintenance may be canceled at any time before the next billing date; amounts already paid are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

Delivery estimates are targets, not guarantees. The written agreement will specify the actual timeline, required client materials, and how delays or missed deadlines are handled.

Ownership: Clients should register and own their domain, hosting, and payment-provider accounts. Upon full payment, deliverables and usage rights are transferred as specified in the signed agreement; third-party licenses remain subject to their terms.

Website projects require a 50% upfront deposit before work begins. If the client cancels the project after paying the deposit, the deposit is retained and is non-refundable, subject to applicable law and the signed project agreement. Any remaining balance is due upon approval before launch. Monthly maintenance is optional and may be canceled at any time; payments already received are non-refundable, subject to applicable law, and cancellation stops future billing. Hosting, domains, and third-party subscription or processing fees are separate. Pricing and services are subject to written agreement. Before paying a deposit, each client receives a written project agreement outlining the scope of work, timeline, revision limits, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and refund conditions. The client must review and explicitly accept the agreement before any deposit is collected. If Seratei Sites cancels a project or does not deliver as agreed, any applicable refund rights and remedies will be determined by the agreement and applicable law.

Simple website project agreement

1. What we're building

Your agreed website pages and features will be listed in your personalized project summary. Starter includes 1 revision round; Professional includes 2.

2. Payment

A 50% deposit is due before work starts. The remaining 50% is due after approval and before launch. Example deposit: $175.00

3. Timeline

Target turnaround is 3–5 business days for Starter and 5–7 for Professional, after we receive the deposit and necessary content. Your specific deadline will be agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel after paying the deposit, Seratei Sites retains the deposit to the extent allowed by applicable law and the final agreement. If we cancel or fail to deliver, applicable refund rights and remedies remain available.

5. Maintenance and ownership

Maintenance is optional: $10/month for Starter or $40/month for Professional, cancel anytime before the next billing date. Paid maintenance fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. Domain, hosting and third-party charges are separate. Website usage and ownership rights follow the signed agreement after full payment.

Those third-party costs are separate unless explicitly included in a written quote.

Do I need to sign an agreement before paying?

Yes. Before we collect a website deposit, we provide a written project agreement describing the agreed work, schedule, payments, revisions, cancellation terms, and applicable refund conditions. You must review and explicitly accept it first.

What does monthly maintenance include?

Starter covers one small update (up to 15 minutes) monthly. Professional covers up to three small updates (up to 60 minutes total) monthly. New features, redesigns, and third-party costs are quoted separately.
